SCIENCES, SOCIAL STUDIES
At Stepbridge, children learn about the world around them through observation and experimentation. We help them analyse and sequence scientific facts. We put into practice what we learn about (growing plants, light and shadows, bodies of water by making miniatures, etc.).
Through social studies classes and activities, children learn about other people and their communities, as well as key facts about cultural events, festivals, and celebrations, children’s rights, and elements of history and geography. We also address and intervene in any behavioral issues through specific exercises, social stories, demonstrations, explanations, and the development of good habits in order to reinforce children’s social integration. We prepare our young learners to become responsible and as independent as possible.
